Purple Martin Cruises on Lake Murray
Cruise out to Bomb Island aboard the Southern Patriot to experience a phenomenon that you have to see to believe! Lake Murray is home to the largest Purple Martin Sanctuary in North America and the Purple Martins will be here during the month of August! Enjoy a spectacular meal aboard the Southern Patriot while you watch nearly one million Purple Martin birds hightail it back to Bomb Island to settle in and roost for the night. Town Of Lexington Farmers Market

The Town of Lexington Farmers Market is primarily intended as a farmer / grower and local artesian market that uses a community-friendly atmosphere to promote, support and encourage local production, while educating citizens on the benefits of eating local, fresh produce and supporting local artists and the Certified SC program. The South Carolina Peanut Party features music, food, a parade, amusements, crafts, and special exhibits! This year's theme is 'In The Good Old Summertime'. Be on the lookout for some of your old timey favorites in the parade this year!
