3rd Annual Paddle Bender

Get involved at the 3rd Annual Paddle Bender, regardless of your ability level. All kayaks, canoes, and SUP's are welcome at this fundraiser for Carolina Wildlife Care. There will be 4 and 8 mile courses. The 2014 Paddle Bender will be the weekend after Memorial Day once again. There will be unique awards presented three deep in multiple categories for both race distances. The Columbia QuadSquad will compete at home against Duke City on June 8, 2014. The game will be at Jamil Temple in Columbia, South Carolina. Flat track roller derby is a fast paced, hard-hittig sport requiring athleticism and agility. Bouts consist of a series of two minute jams with four blockers and one jammer, designated by a star on her helmet, from each team on the track.
